Natural Healing Part 3: Somethings Fishy

I know that infertility is a big issue with us women who have PCOS.  I wanted to share with you what I have found out about the benefits of Omega 3. Moss Greene had lots to say about these benefits at http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art43609.asp.  The following are just a few benefits that Omega 3 offers us.

1. Breast cancer protection
2. Relief from menstrual cramps
3. Improved fertility
4. Healthy babies
5. Preeclampsia prevention
6. Full term babies
7. Baby's brain
8. Less postpartum depression
9. Minimized menopause problems
10. Protection against osteoporosis
11. Reduced risk of heart disease

Surprisingly, I noticed that lots of these have to do with having a healthy baby and that is what lots of us with PCOS are going for.  Also the following article talks about how lots of men have infertility issues due to a lack of Omega 3 in their bodies.

Also, one last tip that I have found is to freeze your Omega 3's before taking them.  This provides help with that pesky fish taste that likes to come back and visit.  This is another one of the supplements that my husband and I have incorporated into our daily routine.  We have noticed a significant change in our bodies and our mind since starting the Omega 3's.  This is something I highly recommend you take on a daily basis. ~ Tammy
