Natural Healing Part 1

I am a firm believer in all natural supplements.  I feel as though 99% of the conditions out there, from high blood pressure to migraines and even diabetes, are caused from a lack of some sort of natural supplement in your body.  I have been doing a lot of research on several different supplements.  I have been taking Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10).  I have only had it in my system for a couple of weeks now so the results are to be determined.

The following is what Ray Sahelian, M.D. has to say about CoQ10.

Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally occurring nutrient found in each cell of the body. It was first identified by University of Wisconsin researchers in 1957. Coenzyme Q10 is found in foods, particularly in fish and meats. In addition to playing a significant role in the energy system of each of our cells, it is a good antioxidant. Many who take these pills notice that this nutrient provides energy and mental clarity. Studies have mostly focused on its role in improving certain types of cardiovascular diseases, including congestive heart failure and hypertension. However, Coenzyme Q10 may benefit those with diabetes and perhaps Parkinson's disease although research in this area has provided conflicting results.

According to the TLC family website, CoQ10 has been used to treat many things, from heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol to diabetes, breast cancer and gum disease. But that's not all. CoQ10 supposedly can help with immune deficiencies, increase fertility, treat Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, reduce ringing in the ears, delay aging and improve skin, and increase athleticism.

I feel as though we may need some medicines the doctor prescribes for us, a lot of them treat the symptom not the condition and the side effects are often worse than the condition itself.  Natural supplements may or may not be right for you.  But as for me, I have gone off all of my medicines, and trust me I was on a long list of them, and replaced them all with natural supplements.  Let me just say, every since I did that I feel great. ~ Tammy
